97 dodge status radio

am installing an aftermarket radio into a used car that had no factory plug.  with what am i to ground it to?  Data base on diagrams says that ground is n/a.  What does that mean?

Just ground to chassis for the head unit.

If I recall correctly in 97 stratus's there is a braided metal strap with a circle on the end thats connected to the chassis that works well as a ground. check it out.

i just made a ground to the bolt right beside the glove box on my plymouth breeze. its basically the same car
always looking for new info and willing to give it
