Is Water bad for fiberglass?

Yo,

Im builing 3 fiberglass enclousures for my 93 lebarron oh yea its a 4 door... lol... (i needed room for cargo) Anyway its my first time with glass and im doin the project in my backyard... however my dumbass went down the shore and forgot to cover the boxes they each have about 3 layers on them but they got soaked.....is this bad.. the boxes were dry before it rained... Is this bad and will it weakin the strentgh of the box... Also im having a lot of trouble getting rid of airbubbles i know the stab technique and i get the bubbles to be pretty small but should i not have ANY airbubbles at all or what. Also how many layers should i do if i have a small amount of airbubbles????   Ohh by the way the boxes are about 1 cu ft each... and two of them are on the sides near the wheelwells and the other is in the spare tire wheel well... nah water wont hurt it, they make boats out of it, just make sure to clean anything off before adding any more layers

about the bubbles, i always get small ones, im not sure if you can really get absolutly no bubbles in it. I wouldnt worry if they are small, unless you have bubbles the size of peanuts, then I would worry lol. I mean bubbles the size of a grain of rice or smaller...

Thanks for the reply, i ran out of glass and dont get paid till thursday so.... i have to wait to finish the boxes i only have about 3 layers on each box so far and yes a got a few bubbles the size of peanuts, should i scrap the project and start over????? thanks again for the reply..

Thanks for the info guys il give it a try... i let you know how it goes and il try to post pics.. Does anyone know how many layers im gonna need to complete the boxese i heard about 9 layers for 1 cu ft boxes???? should i have more?  thanks
