first project

hey its been a long time since ive posted on here. So im gonna start my first glassing project, its not really for a car but still i want it to look good im prolly gonna start tommorow so i will post up pics soon. This is my first project that im gonna do on my own so hopefully it goes well. wish me luck *edit* pics will be up in next few hours

ya tree box....it was left over fabric so i used it just wanna know if problems with wrincles is normal cause i had lots of them and well still do but i will just bondo those so u cant see them hopefully

you need something thicker, without so much stretch, once it gets the weight of resin it'll sag n stuff.  Gotta be careful of that

I dont know.... cant really make out what that looks like. Anyway, u might try streaching the fleece better. I use to have one hell of a time with the acutal fleecing because I'd just lay it on, staple it and hot glue it to the foundation and then scratch my head when the center of the box fell in when I resined it. You have to litterally streach the crap out of fleece, if u think you've streached it enough, keep going. Once u have so little give u cannot pinch it up, thats when its good to fleece."Shiny chrome when used in conjunction with bikini models is particularly effective in inducing brain deficit disorder"

on bigger projects, use something thicker like Sherpa or Fish Fab. It can hold it's own weight and doesn't stretch, it almost shapes it's self, when youtake it off it hold the shape, even dry.

ok thanks for the info i will have to strech it more next time i guess. I started actually fiberglassing on it last night and well so far so good no real problems yet but i guess this is the easy part
