2 1030ws and a orion

ok i know the amp is junk but i got it 5 years ago when i bought a car (Orion Hot setup 2 channel 300w).  anyway ive got this bridged running two infinity 1030w in series.  Also the amp is set to mono. 

Is this the best way to set this up???? Any help is appreciated.  also what is the difference between mono and sterio on a 2 chanel amp  Thanks Again

I don't know the power output of the amp or the rating of the speakers, so without that I couldn't tell you if series is best.  The difference you asked about is that the left and right channels are stereo, each having a distinctly different sound.  Combined together, there is one sound.  Since subwoofer frequencies are so low that they are "non-directional", that is, you can't tell where they are coming from, oftentimes people feed the subs a mono signal, usually by bridging a two channel amp or using a mono amp, to feed more power to the sub, or to use all the available channels of the amp.

To add:  post power rating of an amp like 2 X __watts @ 4 ohms.  Show speaker rating at RMS watts (and voice coil ohm rating).  That keeps everything on the same page, with all the ratings being spoken of in terms of peak and max and all that...
