THANK YOU,

I WANT TO INSTALL DOOR LOCK ACTUATORS IN A 2004 TOYOTA COROLLA BUT I CAN'T DO IT BECAUSE THERE IS NO RHODS, THEY USED CABLES (LIKE THE TRUNK OPENER KIND) AND IT SEEMS LIKE THERE IS NOT WAY TO DO THIS.

PLEASE COULD ANYBODY GIVE ME A HINT

Steve

It is not easy but you can if done very precisely.you would have to drill a hole on the door opening handle assembly to pass the actuator rod thru and then you have a little room where the rod attaches to door lock/unlock assy.

I have done it before all you have to do it cut a piece of the door lock cable insulation and attach the actuator rod to the inner thin cable.
