ok i just was wondering. i have a new 04 tahoe and it has the home link system used for garage door ropeners,now i dont have a garage door opener so its not in use. is there any way to use those buttons for other things, im putting in strobe lights and things like that, can i use those 3 buttons for otherthigns. or wire them to trigger a relay???
any help would be great

if you tore it apart and pulled about the multimeter it's probly possible... i know i could make it work if i could play with it.

now does the buttons go to a controll box. can i just take the wire from button 1 and connect it to a relayis it that easy or is it more in voled and if i play around with it can i screw up the truck or will the remote just not work??
