First off:

Car - 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS manual tranny

Alarm - Nitro BMW 2way

From the alarm: (based on the diagram from this site)

Red - 12v (connected to WHITE/ red wire)

Gray - "start engine wire" (BLACK/ red)

Black - Ground (ground =P)

2 white - "direction indicator" for the parking lights (GREEN / WHITE)

Green - splits into 2 wires; 1 for "air condition wire" the other for "connect to keyhole on wire" (green which is the ignition wire, and the other to the blue/black wire which is the accessory wire for my car)

My problem is, the alarm still tries to start, when the car has already started. Now there is a wire (yellow) which Im supposed to connect to the 'oil light' wire in my dash. I did that. No where in this install manual does it say for me to connect it to the ignition wire, but Im assuming thats what the green wire is for, cause all my previous remote starts, they always had a wire to connect to the ignition. Maybe Im wrong, but 'connect keyhole on wire' is something new to me...

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

When you reference KEYHOLE wire, are you talking about the keysense wire, the wire that grounds when you insert a key into the key cylinder ?

I have no idea. On my car, first its acc, then on, then start. Wait... I may have mis-assumed your question... =P Damn this... This "Nitro" alarm doesnt have any wires from the diagram that leads to the ignition wire..

I made sure that all the connections to and from the siren are connected properly. The ground is also connected properly. But Im not sure if the alarm itself is giving out any power to power the siren. Any tips on troubleshooting this?

My specs: 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Nitro BMW 2way alarm system.

If you have any questions that would help me with my problem, I'll do my best to answer them. TIA

Or would you guys recommend just using the extra output for another turn signal, for the siren?

Could you tell me what the wires are for the shock sensor? Like lets say you were to plug in the harness for the shock sensor and from left to right what are the wire colors?

Make sure one of two things:

1. Some alarm systems have a (-) output for the alarm siren and require you to have 12 volts on the other wire while the system sends out a ground. Check to make sure that you have the proper system.

2. Use a DMM to check the output of the siren output by determining what polarity you have on the siren output wire, arm the system and check if this wire register's on the DMM.

I got the remote start workin now... On the install manual, it says for me to hook up the wire to the key side starter wire. Well, I was playin around with the wires, and just to see what would happen, I stuck the gray wire to the motor side starter wire, and it worked. Now only thing that isnt working, or isnt connected properly is the siren...
