I have a 93 ram w150 4x4 on 33" tires and am having problems with the alarm impact sensor.  I installed it behind the dash about centered mounted to the firewall. It doesn't seem to matter how i adjust the sensitivity it sucks. It's a pretty decent alpine alarm(i thought). One way it's always goin off (before the warning even), and the other it never goes off. Any ideas for trucks like this? theres alot of rubber there and it can rock alot without much effort.
if i just cut the red wire....no the green wire ,, oh damnit i'm so screwed..

Comon, doesn't anyone have an idea on this? My sensor doesn't seem to work well either. What is it an industry secret that sensors suck?

im asumming you have a dual zone shock sensor. try mounting it to your steering wheel columk and star with the sensitivity all the way down working your way up. ive had outputs on sensors give out, try another sensor and see how it works.
