I want to plug and play an Xbox under the rear seat of Jeep. I've read many people having trouble with noise in the A and V and seems to be specific to xbox and the car power. If they use house power the noise goes away and if they use a Playstation the noise goes away... Soooo the Xbox requires a "true sine" inverter.

What is a good "true sine" inverter that won't create noise and where can I get one? Preferably one that isn't super expensive. thanks

I have fitted these and found that as the x box is not earthed to chassis it will pic up interference,,,What i normally do is solder a wire to the outer sheeth of the av lead and earth it to chassis ...Job done........Make sure you only earth the outer sheath and not the inner....

In the old days we would just install a coil in the line. But if what autosound stated works, even easier.

I just installed a Vector Maxx 400W in my 4Runner, hardwired to battery and get crystal clear picture and sound on my LCD from the Xbox. The Maxx claims to reduce video noise on the package and I believe it uses sine wave.

I agree with phoenix12. Vector Maxx is the one. I bought a coleman before and returned it within five minutes.

I don't comprehend.... got any pictures, or like a diagram?

Or do you mean the outside part of the yellow rca plug needs to be grounded? Sorry, I'm slow :-D

Guys w/ the Vector Maxx... Do you think the 225 watt model would be suitable for powering an Xbox? Is the fan on all the time? Is it loud when the fan is on? thanks
