audiobahn 1200q vs jl audio 12w3dv4

hahaha...... finally a non-cheater amp, sky, that's impossible, unless it swtiches the bridging in when it senses the impedence, seriously, it's a mono JBL amp, their pretty idiot proof, as far as i'm concerned, it's the same as an Orion.

I would have to agree there is no way that it will hit 1200 watts rms either  in a 1ohm load or a 2 ohm.  its either at 600rms at 2 ohm or on a 1ohm its 1200. I'm not familar with JBL but thats just common sense.

Ok, i know someone who used the old school w3's. IMO, they were more of a SQ sub. The audiobahns will sound like horse manure, however they will be louder..IMO that is. The JL's wil be cleaner at loud volumes, but straight DB's the Audiobahns will more than likely win. but JL will sound better and i would recommend them, because the audiobahns will be loud, but not clear. This is a rare case i would take the audiofarts over the JL'sIt is better to remain queit and have others think u are dumb, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

thanks cause i knew the amp put out the same power at 2 and one ohms but it prefers 1 2 ohms cause thats what it was built forgoingcrazyonsound

so it looks like i should choose the brand new audiobahn 1200q's over the used jl audio's that were running off two autotek amps?goingcrazyonsound
