Ok, we worked on another job and was successful.

One of our customers asked us to install an X-fire head deck (obviously its generic)
any ways we did this is his acura legend 93 coupe.
We took out the stock cd player. replaced the wire harness, and the deck.
The cd player is a one disc player.
It works great!! no problem!
until he came back and asked us
"the 10 disc cd changer in the trunk won't turn on and i can't take out my cd'z in there"
we told him to come back in a week because were full and will fix it for him this up coming saturday.
Anyone can help us with this one?

My guess is the remote turn on for the changer is no longer connected to 12 volt because you changed the harness with the new deck.  Look at the changer at its location in the trunk...it should be grounded nearby and getting its power source nearby also.  You need to find the remote turn on lead on the harness attached to the changer.  You can make yourself a fused jump wire for your toolbox...use a standard 20 ga. wire and connect an inline fuse holder with a 1 or 2-amp fuse...jump from the turn-on lead at the changer to the 12 volt source to power the deck and remove the magazine.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Is it a must that we have to run the wire with an inline fuse holder?

Could we just run the power wire and and make sure the ground is clean ,
once the changer is on, and remove the magazine quickly.

LOL magazine is that what it's really labled as?

Is there anyway to power the cd changer with the current headunit?

Do you really want to remove the head unit?  And, yes, you need a jumper wire or two anyway since you are doing this stuff now.  Pick up a 5 pack of fuses and a fuse holder for 5 bucks, you'll use it over and over.  It would be embarrassing to fry the poor guy's changer, now, don'tyathink?  Somebody should have an OEM deck and changer to sell on Ebay now when this is all over and done.

Well work on this on saturday. We just got back from purchasing the inline fuseholder along with fuses. We stopped by a 99+ store a bought a 20 gauge power wire.

Hopefully it works! thanks!
