does anyone know about the brake system in the Monte Carlo.  The brakes lights aren't coming on when the pedal is depressed.  There are two switches near the pedal but I can't figure out how to pull them off to look at them or replace them.  All the fuses look good.  Any ideas?

Hot side of brake is Orange, cold side of brake is White. The White wire should show ground when the pedal is not pressed and show 12V+ when it is.  The Orange wire should show 12V+ at all times.
