Hi, I have a little question, I want to install two monitor Headrest, What i want is to connected to the remote turn on of the Pioneer AVH-P6500DVD which is connected to a realy that goes to the the equalizer , amplifiers (2), Will the relay be enought to supply all the components and the monitors. Will they get sufficient power to supply all the component, or which is the best way to do it....

JustDoIt2,

You should have enough power. The 7" monitors I have used (Starvision) only require 6W @ 12VDC (basically hardly any power at all). You will have to invest in a video amplifer which does require a bit more current than the monitors.

With the way you explained it above, the remote turn on wire really has little to do with the relay's performance -- it is just telling it to turn on or off. The power from the battery should connect to the pin 30 of the relay, while your turn on wire should be connected separately to pin 85. Remember to fuse every power wire!!

Does that make sense?

The way I have it now the radio to the amp, is this way

85= blue wire fron head unit (remote turn on)

87= amps

86= Ground

30= constant 12+ Fused.

ok to to the monitors i just take from pin 87 to the monitor.. right? and one more question, I have the Video amp and where should i get the power from?

the one i have is fron a company named accele electronics, is up to 7 monitors, but never seen it before, it have a dc In (which is a plug ) positive and negative, and in the other side it have a DC out, which i dont know what it is for, I dont if it s to connect the monitors or what, do you have any idea?
