I dont know on the trucks but on the corvette's its just a speed sensor attatched to the rim with a big water hose clamp. Im sure the trucks are same. Alot of shops wont change your tires on a corvette because of the sensor.

I typed the wrong thing, the speed sensor on the corvettes is bolted to the rim through the valve stem. They do make a kit for other wheels that uses the big clamp.

ok i found out that we were all right its built in to the valve stem. now heres what im thinking ,everytime i change rims over for the winter i have to take apart and rebalance all 8 wheels(new rims and stock) casue we have to putthe sensors back in the stock rims..i know that i can buy new sensors for around 50 bucks each. but the problem is i new a tire diagnostic tool to reset the transmiters in the tires. i have the model # of the tool but i cant find it on any site. does anyome know of a site that seels diaganostic tools i tried everywhere and no luck
please let me know
thanks
