With the premium sound systems there is no way to keep use of the factory cd changer, if there is forget this message, but I looked for months and couldnt find anything, a wiring harness and radio mounting kit should be all you will need, but you will lose the rear seat controls, the sub, and the changer.

there's gotta be a way to keep all the functions of the cd changer and the rear controls.  if there isn't does anybody know what i can do to fix the display b/c it just went blank? if i can't fix it how much will it cost to get the display fixed?

Ive looked a lot and havent found any ways yet, there are just no kits to integrate them into an aftermarket deck.

As far as fixing the screen goes, I would guess its a cold solder joint, Ive been realizing more and more lately that ford has a big problem with cold solder joints (P.M. me if you ever need to fix the notorious odometer black out problem), so if you are confident that you can rip the deck apart and put it back together I would do that and look right behind the display with a magnifying glass and try to find a cold solder joint, I dont know how much it would cost to get it fixed, you could also check ebay for a new factory radio (I would offer mine but Im sure Ill be putting it in if I ever sell the car).
