one volt is not 12.....so find the problem!

residual voltage is more common with AC, but I've seen DC show a volt or so after an open. It sounds like a cheap multimeter more than anything.

1. go to the library or take some remiedial english classes (if this is your second language, I apologize. you are doing quite well actually)

2. get a real multimeter and/or don't over-analyize the readings.

3. all the time you have spent on this problem, you could have run a new wire from the battery and tapped into a good ACC in the column or the fuse panel and grounded the HU to the firewall or hump which is better than factory wiring anyways......especially to achive that 50x4 MAX power.

Run a fused wire from the yellow wire in the ignition harness(acc) to the red wire coming off of the deck. That will replace your switched power from the radio harness, you should also cover the current switched power wire in the radio harness to prevent shorting when you realize which fuse you blew.

You don't wire the turn on wire to the deck to the "ignition" wire, you wire it to the accessory wire. It will not be on all the time, only when the key is in the on and acc position.

ok..... tie a heavy weight to the radio acc wire, then swing it in a circular motion, count to 10, at the very last second before you finish, throw it at the ignition harness..... if this doesn't work now.... consult a REAL professional. If you cant find one of them, contact a translator.
