Well, my alarm is still falsing a year after the tilt/motion sensor has been installed @ Best Buy.  The sensor has been replaced 2x and the alarm replaced once.

I did notice that the sensor wires were tapped other lines.  Why would the installer have done that?  Can't you just plug the 507T into the open port using its connector?  Maybe that's what the problem is.

Alarm is Maxtrix I BTW.  Help!!

What kind of vehicle? What do you mean "tapped other lines"? And tilt/motion sensor only has 2 wires, ground and trigger, and it will not simply plug in.

It's a 2000 F-150.  The sensor seems to have more than 2 wires though.  Last time I looked @ it was last weekend but there was a red, a blue, and a green wire if I recall correctly.  I'll check it again later after getting off work.

By tapped I mean that those wires were soldered into another trigger, I couldn't trace it exactly but it probably were the shock sensor wires?

Chances are that it isn't the sensor, it sounds like the installer wired the door trigger wrong. I am basing this on the fact that everything else has already been replaced and fords have problems if you tie into the wrong door trigger.
