Matrix 3.5 with 508D

I have the GREEN/ blue wires on the 508D connected to the loose blue wire on the shock sensor harness. Will warn away and instant trigger both function with it connected like this? If not, how do I connect it to get both stages working?

if you wire it into one, you dont have 2 stage anymore. for 2 stage wiring: -blue(full trigger)- hook it to a "instant trigger" that youre not using, possibly the trunk trigger or whatever zone fits ur need to distinguish a trigger. -GREEN/ blue (warn trigger)- hook it to the impact sensor, possible be green depend on the maker. remember to properly diode isolate the two wires so it doesnt criss-cross w/ each other.Houston,TX

yes.... anything less than .8 seconds will trigger warn away, any pulse longer than .8 seconds will trigger full alarm  and i think it will show up as a zone 4 triggerKevin Gerry

There should be a loose green wire on the shock harness. but yes, both green and blue go to the one wire. This will give you dual zone perimeter stillShaughn Murley

On mine there is a loose green one and a blue that loops. I was planning on using a diode to connect it to the blue wire of the 791xv and connecting by backup battery with a diode to the same blue wire. Will that work with two stages still?

On mine the blue wire that loops is connected to the shock sensor orange wire. The loose blue wire is on the other end of the shock sensor harness that plugs into the brain.
