I can't decide on which components to get.  right now the components that are in my range are focal's 165k (6.5 polyglass) and 165k (6.5 polykevlar) and MB Quart's 6.5 RSD or PSD.

You won't loose on either set... they're both damn good speaker manufacturer's with awesome warranty protection. If it came down to it I would go for the MB Quart, but only because I have dealt with them before and I've only heard the Focals a couple of times.

You won't be disappointed with either, both companies make quality product. Choose whichever will best fit your system needs. If it comes down to it, I'm with Jeff for the same reason, I've only heard a few sets of Focal components.

I have used and seen both, and I'd say go with the Focals, i just put some MbQuarts in my mom's subaru, and they are great, but i just couldn't afford the focals for a birthday gift, but they are nicer, so i'd say go with the focals, but it is just a slight diference in sound, they re both very nice.  mostly an opinion thing i'd say
