under 150 it will be going into a chevy venture and i would like to maintain the power sliding door control, also would like the lcd remote pager. not to keen on the remote start option, no reaql need for it here in sunny FL.

In Florida you might want it more than ever. Remote start that is. Think about starting your AC from the office window or wherever. I'm already regretting not doing remote start on mine.

Any of the Directed Electronics brands are usually a safe bet, they seem to have the best documentation, and support systems on the market. Others brands will work just as reliably, if they are installed correctly, but some are hard to do if they only come with one piece of paper for instructions. Trust me I have installed these alarms, and most of the time it is trial and error on making things work they way they are supposed to. Remember if it has the same features and functions as the alarm that costs $300, and you can get it for $59.99 there is probably a reason it is so cheap. Good Luck.

the clifford (DEI product) 2.5 is a two way alarm with 4th and 5th channel aux. outputs for features like sliding doors. its a little over your price range tho.

why no remote starter? they dont just heat up the vehicle, you can leave it set on AC too... or you could add the power window mod so you can vent (or fully roll down) the windows. when you arm the alarm they automatically roll back up.

I can get an Omega with the lcd pager at wholesale from my son-in-law, yeeeaah I got the hook up!! best alarms on the market? -- posted image. was just wondering if they are worth the trouble, or should i keep looking.
