Im having a hard time deciding on what kind of tv screens I want. I dont want to pay a whole lot of money, but I want good quality. Ive looked at several brands and I cant decide on what to get. I read the specs. on all of them and they have different screen resolutions. They are listed in pixels. I dont really know what pixels are, so what is is pixels and how many pixels would be good quality?

get the one with the most pixels. spend a little more and you'll get a better product

pixels are the tiny dots on the screen that, when put together, make a picture. The more pixels in a screen the better the resolution because the dots are packed tighter together and make a cleaner image. Look at the pioneer, clarion and alpine screens and try to find something around thier resolutions.

Ok thanks alot. Yeah I was thinking that the more pixels that better it will look, but I wasnt sure.

You wanna make sure that you purchase a TFT vs an STN video monitor.

I have a Farenheit sunvisor module and a Pioneer headrest monitor. Both are TFT screens, and I purchased the Farenheit monitor first. Upon installing it, I thought the resoultion was great. Clear picture! Then I purchased my Pioneer headrest montior. What an improvement! I got an even better resolution, and brighter image.

Again, resolution is excellent on both, but there is a significant difference with Pioneer model. It is even richer and brighter than the Farenheit. Hence, you get what you pay for.

I hope this helps. Also, I purchased both of my monitors off of EBAY, and saved a few hundred dollars. Definately worth looking at. I payed less than half the retail cost for both on EBAY.
