I need wire colors in the doors for factory speaker polarity. 4 door factory plugs.

The best way to be sure about what wires are the correct ones, is to pop off all of your door panels, and speakers and get the wire colors from there....

The problem is I bought this truck and it already has after market speakers and I think the person who installed them crossed polarity. Sorry about the confusion, should've included that little tidbit.

Do you have a DMM (Digital Multi Meter)? If you do, switch it to OHM switch and find the resistance of those aftermarket speakers. from 3.8 to 4.7 ohms in the wiring harnesses behind the indash radio. Then use a 9volt to 12 volt battery to pop those speakers and determine their location.

Make a note that using this technique could pop fuses and it is not a proper way of testing. Always make sure you find that resistance first like I mentioned on the first paragraph. Hint: find your power wires first and seperate them and then shoot.

I forgot to mention that the battery technique will not work with some factory amplified system. Although, on some vehicles, you can try powering up the factory amplifier before you pop those speakers.
