I use 2 layers of tape (the blue 3m kind) and a layer or two of foil...better safe than sorry. I have NEVER had any problems with a piece sticking...

Also be sure to over protect, i mean tape, foil whatever beyond the end of where you are glassing. again, better safe than sorry.
