DEI 504 d to oem alarm question

Hi, I have a dei 504 dual stage shock sensor that I want to install onto the oem alarm of an 04 accord but don't know how to hook it up and which wires go where. The dual stage was used on my previous alarm and that was used with a relay. If anyone can help me with the wiring information that would be great. Thanks guys you're all the best...

Seems like you would use the dual stage output to activate a relay that could be tied into your one of your door switches. Depending on if your door trigger is - or + would dictate the wiring configuration.

Previous alarm being aftermarket or stock? This will take more then just a 1 relay to do it correctly.Certified Security Specialist

the old alarm was an ungo but now just trying to use it on the oem honda alarm...any help on wiring would help greatly....thanks.

Hmmm....Seems like a relay was overkill.

Actually just wiring the way he said will probably cause a light to turn on while driving, be it a dome light or trunk light. It needs to trigger one of these to set the factory alarm off. There are modules out there to accomplish what he is looking for.Certified Security Specialist

auex, not trying to be arguementative here cause your the expert. If he were to wire as per the above post and add a +ignition controlled relay tied into the blue wire the sensor would be ignored while driving. This would be much cheaper than a module. What do you think?
