I was looking for some suggestions on what type of unit I should get to integrate the remote start with factory alarm. This vehicle does have the heavy grey key, so I know I need to either get the bypass module or an extra key. I am not sure where to get this bypass module, DEI? Thanks

dei makes a data bus upgrade and interface for some new chrysler vehicles. i use the ford module all the time for the F150 and 250 and so on model trucks and it uses the factory keyless entry and turns it into an alarm with starter kill and shock and door pins and horn honk and other outputs for stuff.the part numbers are a 700t and a 700j. one of those should work. as far as the grey key use a 555c module and that should work fine

i been installing remote start on chrysler product for a long time. the PKU CH unit does the job for bypass the gery key system , no key is needed for this module. it is very easy to hook up. you can look it up on bypasskit.com.
