Resin and Catalyst

My resin keeps dryin up on me too fast and i am using the recommended drops per ounce. It is recommended to use 14 drops of catalyst per ounce of resin, how less drop can i use and it still dry ?? Could i use about 7 or 8 drops per ounce or would that be too little ??

Yeah, thats what i thought. I also found a site that references for building in layers like more on the first layer then as you come out you cut back on the MEKP. Thanks guys. Also i use a heat lamp at it works excellent for speeding up the process, it cuts back the time till just takky or cure time by about 50%-60% I would say.

be carefull with the heat lamp.  Too much heat with distort the your project.  You could create waves that can be a huge pain.
