I purchased a '66 Mustang with a Custom Audio Radio - cassette (does not appear to be factory original since cassettes were not around in 1966).  I am completely at a loss when it comes to radios.  Can someone give me a crash course on how to hook up this radio and see if it even works?

Thanks!

A wiring diagram is always helpful. Look one up for that car.

Isnt there only 1 one speaker?

Run your own wires!

Make your own ground

since its just a deck, Run both the Constant and memory off an AUX in the fuse panel..

Find the spkr wire and your set. the ant will be easy.

Honda - I appreciate the suggestion.  I have Chilton's Repair Manual but the wiring diagram is not detailed for the radio.  I can follow it but don't understand it well enough to know what to do.

Robb42 - Yes, the original speaker is in the dash.  Someone else also installed two speakers in the back but they are not connected.

I understand running a constant and memory off an AUX in the fuse panel.  However, what I am struggling with is the back of this Custom Autosound AM/FM Cassette radio has a "pigtail" - a bunch of wires with a plastic, female plug at the end.  How and where that is connected is a complete mystery to me.

Any advice or suggestions?

Thanks
