we are having problems with programing the key in this car, i called howard keys about two weeks ago told them which key i had and they told me at that time that they were told it would work, well i guess not would anyone please tell me of your experiences with this car so i can go home!!

Does the key you are using have an S stamped into the keyshaft?

the chrsyler magnum have a special key , at this time no after market key will work.

even the s stamped key . if you lost your key , it going to cost you alot .

you can  only get at a  chrysler dealer .

chrysler has a new sentry key, must get it from the dealer, then use the 556u.
do it right the first time....less warranty work=more money!:)

oh, yeah, the heater wire and the starter wire are the same wire through resistors. good luck.

do it right the first time....less warranty work=more money!:)

thanks for your help, we worked it out today, the key which worked for us was from howard keys and we bought it the beginig of this year for a caravan we did , we did have some programing problems but that was caused by wiring up the dei 556u wrong, we wired up the pink wire in the harness which is the very wrong thing to do, anyway with a little help from our dealer we were able to program this key and use it in the 556u, if we would of had both keys at the time of installation and not hooked up the pink wire in the 556u this would of been a peice of cake, thanks everybody, see ya...
