I am installing a valet 562T in a 2004 silverado and I was just wondering what is the best and easy to install security bypass kit available.

you'll need a 555L for bypass and a 456G for data... i rely on DEI modules for their reliability.....

I would say a PLDATA is the easiest to install and so far the most reliable that I've seen for bypassing passlock 2. For the locks a GMDL4 would be a good choice.

We just did one, tried three different "data" modules, and one hard wire programmable.  Had to go to a low-tech dial in the resistor type to get it to work.

i've done loads of 03 and 04 CK's and always used the 555L and never had a problem with them.... PLDATA works too but because it doesnt actually broadcast a code the security light on the dash stays on often....

GMDAA is what I use, it does most GM's with OBD-II for passlock and PK3 and locks/trunk/alarm on vehicles that use databus
