I am going to and try and install this baby myself. I am aware of the warranty void but i haven't wired anything yet that blew up. I have a few questions about the door locks, door triggers and the illuminated entry. On the door locks (also it is keyless)  am i going to need the resistors supplied in the kit? Concerning the door triggers how do i reach all the doors? That is confusing to me.  If my truck does not have a factory alarm will i need to wire up the illuminated entry. Will i need all the wires on the 451M block. I apologize if these are stupid questions but i don't want to pay the audio shop $300 to install my stuff. there are not clifford dealers anyhow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike

you really only need the 451M if you have reverse polarity door locks..... the 3.5 has dual polarity DRL outputs so once you've identified the circuit in your vehicle you'll know if it's needed or not..... you wont need the resistors

door trigger should be taken care of by grabbing the trigger wire for the drivers door only.....

you dont need to wire up the domelight output unless you specifically want to make use of that feature... i rarely hook it up...

If i don't need the 451 how else do i connect the door locks? Also about the shock sensor what do i connect the blue wire to? Do i cut the looped wire and connect it to that?

dontt connect it to anything, it there for if you add another sensor, you can tap into the same circuit....

i forgot the Clifford doesnt come with the regular wiring harness for door locks because it comes with the 451M.... you can certainly use the module, it's just overkill if you've only got - or + doorlocks
