I'm trying to wire my amp into the stock am/fm/xm/cd/cassette deck... its a nice deck, but it doesnt have pre amp outputs... I need the diagram because I'm going to combine the 2 front speakers to free up a channel, then pull the amp off the open channel, so I can fade and balance the system to have nothing but base.... that and I need to find a remote turn on source for the amp...

i dont see the logic in combining the front speakers... just use a good quality LOC and tap into both....why would you want to set the system up for nothing but bass??     just trying to annoy the old guy who lives next door?

for remote turn on use something like DEI's 55000 or tap into the fuse box or ignition wiring for a switched voltage.....

Exactly, buy yourself a good LOC and tap it into the rear speaker wires in the trunk. After that you can tap into the pink wire that comes down the ignition column from the ignition tumbler. This is the ignition wire and is a great spot to tap into for a remote on lead. Some of the newer generation of LOC's have a built in auto on feature that when it senses a signal coming into it, provides a +12v remote on ouput from the LOC. Have a look at the one Kevin recommended.
