Has anyone had a problem installing an aftermarket deck where the new deck is too long to fit? Am trying to install a Sony deck that is about 1.5 to 2in too deep. Interested if anyone has installed a radio with this problem and how they made it fit?

You need a kit that comes out of the dash. Look at the metra links to the left.

you can also cut out the heater box and fiberglass a new panel for it, then the deck can go all the way in. Thats what I had to do in my 89 s-10
