Hi, new to these forums.

A customer came in with a 93 Caravan AWD with the Infinity System and 6 speakers. This amp pops when the car turns on and has a whole bunch of noise when the cars running. There was a ground for it behind the radio, and the Turn on was getting clean 12.5 volts from the facorty deck.

To make a long story longer, I hook up his kenwood deck he bought, fired up the remote turn on, and got nothing. Im so sick of this thing I just want to do a bypass for this guy and be done with it since the amps on its way out anyway.

Does anyone know the location of the factory Infinity amp in a 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD?

I checked behind both rear kicks, and under all the seats, do I have to pull this dash?

Thanks for any replies! :)

IN CASE ANYONE CHECKS THIS POST:

The Infinity system on this van had an amp on the two rear speakers, and one on each of the front door speakers, the dash are wired direct off the left and right front leads behind the radio.

Simply do a BOSE style bypass ignoring the 12 volt and ground leads and thats it. 93 Caravan AWD - Factory Amp -- posted image.

I have an Alpine 9830 deck and I'm at wits end with installing it... I have a 2002 Caravan ES Infinity 6spkr system, it powers on, no sound....

Can you please explain the BOSE style bypass 'ignoring the 12 volt and ground leads'  for me... Exactly which 12 volt and ground hook ups do I need to ignore?

Help me.... I am loosing my mind.
