ok well i just finished isntalling this into my 1990 nissan 240sx and when i finished i went into the remote modes to program the remote and everything but it wont take it or even recognize im pushing the buttons at all. i checked the remote sensor wire and the remote has a good battery in it... any other ideas? is there anything that can interfere with its operation i mighta missed or any wires that can cause problems? i cant get a remote so that means i cant activate this alarm or do anything with it right now besides drive the car just as it is...

if you have a loose or no connection to the antenna the remote will not do anything, check for this..... i had one a year or so ago where the connection on the antenna popped out a touch and it was just like this, totally unresponsive...

check on both the antenna and the brain.....
