I have this 04 Ion with the factory am/fm unit....and stupid me I bought a factory unit from E bay with a cd player. The plugs are different, and I dont know how to hook it up. Any knowledge would be appreciated.

Yeah, thanks saturn for changing the plugs for 04.
70-2102 for the vehicle and a 71-2003 for the deck, if it's a deck from an ION

the cd player came out of an 02 Vue...it appears as though it was a 6 speaker system...I dunno....anyways, is it possible to install it into my Ion????

as Shaughn mentioned, get the proper radio and car side harnesses from Metra and wire them together, shouldnt be a problem....neither of these units are Class II dependent.....
