get it installed for free at the shop, ,or else you wont have manufacturers WARRANTY, or install WARRANTY, oh, and did i mention WARRANTY!!   Be shure they solder every connection, you don't want a free install to be a firey install.

if its free, and its a 2700 dollar deck, I would let them do it so that if it ever does fail they cant blame it on your install. Cover your Ass.

I agree with Ravendarat,  if you are new to the install word,  let the pros do it.  That's an expensive toy to be learning with.

I wouldn't risk that much money put if it's just a $250 dollar deck I'll do it myself, I got all the tools and such to do it so I might as well. (cheaper on the pocket book)

I would do it regardless of the price, but that's just me.

If your warranty is compromised then it may be best to have the shop do it. For $2,700....that should be installed free!

With things like that, the shop's jackass installers are not involved, if they have any. In any case, the shop should have some good installers or at least one who will be in charge of a high value install. Good luck with it.

Life is always about ass.. you are either kissing it, covering it, buying it, kicking it or trying to get it. In this case, covering it. Get it installed. Install myself or have the store do it -- posted image.
