School for what?? I don't know of any shcools in your area for audio, but there could be some. What are you wanting to study?

Not exactly Texas but not too far away, The Snake Pit is located in Vista, California. i believe Acoustic Edge is in Houston, or one of the major cities down there, Mobile Dynamics is in Phoenix and from the research i have done, seems like a better school, it is about as twice as time period but twice as expensive as Acoustic Edge. To get a your MECP cert., either would be a good choice.

Mobile Dynamics is the only car audio school where you can take the Basic and First Class MECP testing. It is only 8 weeks and covers every aspect of mobile installs-- audio, video & navigation. Included is also sport tuning and performance modifications and home theater installation. Check out the website at www.mobiledynamics.com or call them at 800-610-2122. I think you will be pleased at what you find out about their history and how much you will get from their extensive program!
