I was wondering what the purpose of the accesory wire is on your reciever? My deck cant store any information on it after I turn the car off. What might be wrong? and it isnt the fuses. could someone help me out here?

Another thing is I am putting two 12" 1400 watt subs in my car and was wondering what kind of amp would be best to use and the price (tight budget).

Is your HU hooked up to a constant 12v power lead as well? That's what gives the HU power to store the information when the car is off, such as settings and clock. The ACC wire is to tell the stereo that the car is now on, and that it should start working like a car stereo does.

What 1400-watt subs are we talking about?

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

1400 watts... *whistles* hehe...

Are you using a wire harness for your car or are the wires cut off.

hey thanks for the help...i have the H/U working and it is storing information

now the other question was what kind of amp would be suitable with a tight budget with two 12" subs with a total of 1400 watts (i think they are MTX subs but dont quote me on that) i havent purchased them yet...it is a deal in progress

any info let me know pls

You should know what subwoofers you're making a deal on...or don't make a deal. If we can't quote you on this topic, who are we going to quote? ;) We talk only in RMS power handling when it comes to speakers, because that is the figure that is important. Find out more about the subs and get their RMS power handling.
