 i installd remot starter with alarm  band  autostart 1424 in dodge intrepid

but its very poor  range  i have to go very close to car to  start the car or lock  unlock the doors  i conected all wires right  .

Make sure the antenna is not bundled up with any power wires.

Start with the basics, make sure your ground is good, next check and see if the antenna is pinched, maybe even switch the antenna location and see if that makes a difference. You could also run a new antenna just loosly over top of panels to help eliminate any problems (just for testing of course).

U might try the temporarally putting the antennea outside and see if U get better results...............If U do U may have interference from other devices in vehicle i.e. Keyless Entry, ECM, BCM, etc.  Then U may have to contact tech service of autostart & see what they recommend.  Some Units U can ground anteena for better reception and others is trial & error
