ok i am building a box and i need to know some info. is it ok to put two 10in subs 2in apart with a divider.

ok new question i just got a coustic 160se for a good price is that powerfull enough to power 2 10in subs

    Depends on the sub, give us the sub model.  A JL w0, that would be a fine match.  But a W3, not really.  A W6 not at all.  If you have to go single, why not go with one 12", they rarley will handle more power then a 10" of the same line and you will get deeper, louder bass.

    haha, i got those xsite subs in the 8" model, , there pretty kicken for $10 a pair, lol there goof for garage subs.  As for peformance, ,you get what you paid for.  Im reality, they will only handle like 75 rms each.

    There dual 4 ohm subs, ,so if you wired them up to that amp to create a 4 ohm load and bridge that amp, they will move pretty good, but sound quality wont be much better than a tin can with a t shirt stuffed in it.
