Here's a quick single 10" box I put together for my girls Tiburon. I made it kind of thin too ;-)

The final outcome is pretty rough, honeslty I wasnt even gonna paint it since she throws sh*t in her trunk and will destroy the finish on it anyway. I just wanted to get an idea of what this enclosure would look like the same color as her car. Next week Im just gonna carpet it in black, im not wasting anymore time on the finish haha

Looks good for a first timer.  How thin is it and how stiff?  Does it seem to flex at all with the sub going, or does it feel solid like a good box?  Thanks for sharing the pics of your project.

Oh I meant to answer the rest of your question heavilymedicate, its not too thick, maybe 3/8" (I could have made it thicker).  It doesnt seem to flex while playing at a decent volume, Im pushing the sub with a 200 watt profile amp, shes not really into the big boom as much as I am.

That paint job looks like crap. Your probably like me and hate sanding lol.
Project GT, learn to like sanding. Its easy to pick up how to make a box, its a completely different thing to learn how to like sanding.
Anyway, thats a nice basic box, looks a little like my first box (well, same finish anyway hahaha). Thumbs up to that man! Just when u do urs, sand a little better haha.

Damn right that paint job is crappy! haha
The fiberglass work is pretty thin too, originally I wanted to glass it from the inside, but that didnt start out too well.  But yesterday, I got my little shipment of aerosil/cabosil resin expander, so Im gonna stiffen up the inside of the enclosure better cause it does flex a bit.  The I am going to carpet it.  Yes, when i do decide to start on my car, you better believe I will put all the time & effort into that project.
Im a fiberglass whore!!

HottAccord what kind of car is it in?  Lookin at doin the same for my girl.  She's not a "boom" person but i've convinced her to put some bump in the trunk.  Bout how big is it?  BTW looks good for a quickie.
