they only problem with that xtremeaudio, is the shop is probably giving him "free basic install" on the 3.5 .  if some guy walked into my bay with one from anywere but my glass case, its $199, plus the extra labor i previously mentioned.  im not going to do the work for free on a product i didnt make any money on.

Yeah. I think that they are giving me a break on the labor because of the package deal they are giving me. Im not sure how much they would charge if i was to bring in my own stuff.

i charge 150 bucks (CND) to install the 3.5 without any add-ons... it's a nice unit and you'll be happy with it......

in my experience it's best to go with the people who know the most about the product and who have a good reputation for installing it, not just going with whoever gives you the lowest price....  big box stores ( CC, BB, etc) will usually give you the cheapest price but i would never let one of them get their hands on any of my vehicles.....

be selective with who you buy it from and allow to install it for you, you already know what product you want, now shop for the shop....
