Hello all,  I am new to car video so please excuse the stupid questions.  I am building a new center console for my 2001 GMC Sierra.  I am wanting to instal at least a 7" monitor in it.  My question is, what monitor do I need.  I am looking at all of these monitors and i am guessing what I want is a "head rest monitor"  because it will have the proper brackets for me to mount it into the console.  Is this right?  If not  please guide me.  Thanks guys

Ya, I am doing the same thing to my S-10 and a headrest monitor is definatly the easiest thing to use.

Almost all monitors designed for car use, not raw screens, will have mounting hardware. You can really use just about any monitor for this. You sure as hell won't find a 10inch headrest monitor.
