Do you mean the courtesy lights on the doors ? How do they break ? The filament or the actual bulbs ? What kind of car ?

i have a 01 tahoe and it is the actual bulbs that are breaking. i have tried putting dynamat on the door and on the doorskin and neither seemed to help.

Never heard of this before ? What brand bulbs are you using ? I think you can try those new LED type bulbs, but I might be wrong and there may not be the right size. Try looking here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/led_prods.htm
