Clarion Vrx935Vd Playing Burned DvD

Is their anyway to get the vrx935vd to play burned dvd or data dvd with mp3 on them.  Everytime i make them the receiver says error 6 and wont play.  Is their any way to fix this or what do I need to do Thanks

What type of DVD are you using, are you using the DVD+R or DVD-R.  This could be the problem.

As far as I know you cannot make the unit play that format off those discs but I could be wrong.

Did you ever bet your DVD's to work.  If you are trying to play a burned movie you will have to burn it as a ROM movie.  f you are using DVD+ this could be the reason your system it not playing the DVD.
