has anyone else had problems programming the dei 555f (the pellet) to certain ford vehicles?? i did an 02 taurus and 00 windstar that i could not get the 555f to program to. I used a 555u (key wrap) and it worked great on both. then i did an 02 windstar and the 555f worked. Is it just me or has this happened to anyone else???

sorry to state the obvious, but if you didn't try to program it with both keys it will not work.

If that isn't the problem, then it is most likely that the key cylinder couldn't pick up the pellet, you may have to move it about or hot glue it at an awkward angle. Failing that, it may have been something the dealer did to lock the car from being programmed by a consumer.
