need help! I recently install an alarm on a 00 Ford F150. Everyhthing went smooth, till today(aprox.a month later), door locks seem very weak now. I wiring them 5 wire and i only hear the motor working, but the lock/unlock doesn't work. i did a search on the 12volt. it mentions it could be  Type A doorlocks, but my truck is not keyless entry. Any suggestions?
Be nice!

If you are using the 451M relay pack, apply 12V to the small red wire that's between the green and blue wire.

It could also be that your factory actuators are bad.  Ford trucks have a bad rep with door lock actuators.

Do it right the first time

i found door lock wires under the dash(pink/green and pink / YELLOW) and they worked fine,so you think if i change them over to the passenger side it'll work again.
Be nice!

Also check the dorr lock/unlock pulse and duration on the alarm.  I had an alarm come in the other day that the door locks had stopped working, due to burned actuators.  Replaced them, only to hear them energize for three and a half seconds when activated by alarm.  Seems that whoever put it in didn't set the pulse duration up correctly.  As far as the wires, you probably have the same wires that raydawg listed, just in different location, since they worked for awhile.  But I do agree with him that Fords actuators are s**t.  If they cycle slowly when you use the lock/unlock switch on the door, then they are shot.

Remember the Heroes.  Let's Roll.

If it don't fit, Force it.
If it breaks, You needed a new one anyway!
