Is it true that they use Optical cables thruout the whole system?

and to just turn them away?

my 00 E55 is fibre optic.... but i presume from the output of the amp it's analogue.... so it looks like you replace it all or leave it all

wow really?  So if you had a very expensive deck, like a F#1 status you would be set with the optical out?
