Hi all.. I'm new here, so please bear with me..

I'm looking for a cheat-sheet/wiring reference for a '98 UK BMW E39 535i

I need it to include details of how to disarm the factory alarm WITHOUT unlocking the doors..  as I plan to fit a Clifford Matrix RS1

Many thanks in advance!

Stuart.

Thanks for that, but most importantly I need to know how to disable the standard alarm for whilst the remote start is activated..

My understanding is that the factory alarm arms/disarms upon door lock/unlock - I need to be able to arm/disarm the alarm WITHOUT the car being unlocked, as the RS1 is not an alarm - just a standalone remote start unit.

Thanks,

Stu

Single pulse of the door unlock wire will disarm the alarm, the wire need two pulses to unlock the doors.

you will need a bmw immobiliser bypass module this is available from a clifford dealer part no 555b this will use the transponder from your spare key to switch the immobiliser of only when the remote start module kick in, disarming the alarm still wont let you start the car without the bypass kit
