Not at all. Asking questions, or even questioning what is written on a open forum shows consideration and real thought about topics at hand. Anyone can relay the same information from any web site, or forum. But to use and apply them in a practical manner is different, as well as truly understanding the causal effects of doing so. Not everything is cut and dry as it pertains to batteries. And not all the information provided even on the Optima is 100% accurate. That being the Blue Top Batteries. ie. It is clearly stated it is also a dual purpose battery. But what people are not asking or even considering is that it is not a SLI battery. That is the difference, a motor on a boat is not the same, no matter what people tell you. Nor does it have the same charging system. Regards EVIL Teken . . .
